Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

  • Assure consistent customer support

  • Support manufacturing to meet production schedule

  • Optimize use of productive material resources and supplier capabilities

  • Ensure material systems and process effectiveness

  • Ensure effective extended warehouse operations & logistic effectiveness

  • Achieve Cost / CIP goals

  • Ensure compliance of Manufacturing System & Material Management Practices

  • Develop employees

  • Communicate customer interrupt and material readiness issues to the organization

 

Ideal candidate would be:

 

  • More than 5 years in a large manufacturing environment and in one or preferably all of the following areas: Material Management, Production Control, Logistics, Inventory Management

  • APICS Certified or willing to pursue within 2 years

  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
